Chaque lime possède deux surfaces abrasives de grain 240 qui lissent la plaque de l'ongle, uniformisent les petites irrégularités et imperfections, et éliminent les zones d'écaillement ou de décollement, le tout sans rayer la peau autour de vos ongles.
Le cœur en mousse élastique fait le gros du travail : il se plie et s'adapte pendant que vous travaillez, répartissant la pression uniformément afin qu'il n'y ait aucun risque de limage excessif ou de création de points faibles. Cela le rend sûr même pour les ongles fins ou sensibles. Le support en plastique souple maintient le tout stable et empêche la lime de se casser ou de se déformer, tandis que le revêtement anti-poussière empêche la surface de s'encrasser afin que chaque lime reste efficace plus longtemps.

How to use
- Step three of the File Manicure – after the Strip, two or three light passes along the cuticle line and down each sidewall.
- Between manicures – when skin starts to come back, a few strokes on the spots that need it.
- Toes – the same, and far easier than nippers somewhere you can't see well.
- Not on the nail plate. Keep it to the skin. For the nail itself, that's the Shiner.
- Light pressure. The foam does the work, not your hand.
FAQ
Are these the same as the Buffs in the Kit?
Same grit, same finish. These have a face on both sides and their own spine, so they work without the Core.
How long does one Buff last?
At home, several manicures.
Can I use it on the nail itself?
No. It's made for skin. For shine on the nail plate, use the Shiner.
Why not a cheap buffer from the chemist?
A standard buffer is built for the nail plate, so it is stiffer and coarser than skin wants. The foam in these gives against the skin instead of scraping it, and the grit is fine enough to use along the cuticle line without a mark.

I’ve watched the video a few times to see how to use the double sided buffs, but I’m still not sure I’m using them correctly. Having said that, my cuticles are much, much better since I’ve been using them and I’ve now started to wear nail polish again for the first time in over 12 months.
Wearing polish again after twelve months, that's the part we love reading x On the buffs, they're step three of the method: after you've filed, you swap the buff onto the core and use it on the skin around the nail, not on the nail itself. Rest it so it slightly overlaps the cuticle, press gently and draw one long stroke down and away, two or three times per nail. That's all it takes, and if it feels like you're working hard, you're doing more than you need to.

Great nail files, gentle & good size
I'm already obsessed with the buff from the kit, but this double-sided one is next level. Same gentle, smooth finish, just a bit more practical to carry around. Such a good little thing to have on hand
I wasn’t expecting this level of quality. I’ve never used buffs this fine before — they’re incredibly gentle but still very effective. They work perfectly around the cuticle and side walls, where I’m usually scared of damaging the skin. Everything feels controlled and precise, not harsh at all. Considering how well made they are and how long they last, this is genuinely a great value for money!!
